Arsene Wenger has never beaten Jose Mourinho in the Premier League.
Mourinho will need that trend to continue if he is to take Manchester United into the top four this season. A draw, though, is no good for United this Sunday. Victories are needed to overtake Manchester City and Liverpool in the fight to finish in the Champions League places.
Arsenal need three points to boost their own hopes of the top four while higher up, the title race remains alive after Tottenham beat the Gunners last week. Spurs can cut the gap to just one point if they beat West Ham on Friday before Chelsea host Middlesbrough on Monday.
Predict the outcome of the latest round of fixtures in our match polls ...
ARSENAL: Wenger has never recorded a Premier League victory over Mourinho, and with Arsenal in this form it doesn't feel as if that's likely to happen anytime soon. With Mourinho's focus now arguably on the Europa League, he's likely to be content to shut this game down and take a point.
Prediction: Arsenal 1-1 Manchester United -- James McNicholas
MAN UNITED: Mourinho has claimed that he way rest players for Manchester United's trip to the Emirates so he can prioritise the Europa League semifinal. That may well be the case, but you would imagine that the manager will put something in place to deny Wenger a victory. Defensively, United will struggle, given how many players are missing through injury and how many others are exhausted through the lack of rotation. However, tactics similar to those employed at Man City might be on show. If someone like Anthony Martial or Henrikh Mkhitaryan can come up with a top performance, United may surprise a few people.
Prediction: Arsenal 1-1 Manchester United -- Scott Patterson
CHELSEA: The Premier League momentum Chelsea have regained since beating Tottenham in the FA Cup semifinal shows no sign of abating. Comprehensive, high-scoring victories over Southampton and Everton will surely be followed by another over Middlesbrough for whom defeat could spell relegation. A full week's rest from their fruitful labours at Goodison should pay dividends for Antonio Conte's side for whom an early goal could be the first of many.
Prediction: Chelsea 4-0 Middlesbrough -- Mark Worrall
MIDDLESBROUGH: After putting on their best display of the season against Man City in the 2-2 draw last week, Boro will look to continue their positive performances in hope of galvanising for the future -- despite almost certain relegation. The league leaders won't be giving them an easy ride, though.
Prediction: Chelsea 3-1 Middlesbrough -- Catherine Wilson
WEST HAM: West Ham's own dreams may fade and die with alarming regularity, but the Hammers like nothing better than bursting another team's bubble. Form and desire all point to a Tottenham win, so expect West Ham to play out of their skin, backed by a vociferous home crowd.
Prediction: West Ham 2-0 Tottenham -- Peter Thorne
TOTTENHAM: West Ham may have home advantage for Friday's derby, but they have lost more top-flight fixtures at the London Stadium than they have won, and Slaven Bilic's side are generally in poor form, only emerging victorious in one of their past 11 games. By contrast, Spurs are on a nine-match winning streak in the Premier League and are bidding to move just one point behind leaders Chelsea.
Prediction: West Ham 0-2 Tottenham -- Ben Pearce
LIVERPOOL: Liverpool are grinding their way toward the finishing line and a top-four spot. Southampton have little to play for, which ought to make them ideal opponents especially at home but have been a thorn in the Reds' side all season. A tight, nervous stalemate is therefore expected.
Prediction: Liverpool 0-0 Southampton -- Steven Kelly
SOUTHAMPTON: Manager Claude Puel is coming under increasing pressure with rumours he faces the sack so could really do with a result. But Southampton have failed to beat any of the top six in the Premier League this season and it is hard to see that changing.
Prediction: Liverpool 2-0 Southampton -- Alex Crook
MAN CITY: The team badly need a strong end to the season to confirm a place in next year's Champions League. Victories are a must -- by a big margin, if possible -- as that could see their goal difference be enough for them overtake Liverpool in third to gain automatic qualification for the group phase. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, have been resurgent and pose a great threat to City's wobbly defence.
Prediction: Manchester City 2-1 Crystal Palace -- Simon Curtis
CRYSTAL PALACE: Palace have had a knack for collecting unlikely results against the division's top sides. If they can frustrate City like Middlesbrough did at the weekend, there's a good chance of getting something from the game.
Prediction: Manchester City 1-1 Crystal Palace -- Rob Sutherland
HULL CITY: The penultimate home game of the season has to bring three points for Hull City. Anything less against a side already condemned to the Championship could seriously damage the Tigers' hopes of avoiding the same fate. Sunderland might be relaxed and won the previous meeting 3-0 in November, but the home form under Marco Silva has been outstanding. A fifth straight win at the KCOM Stadium can take City five points clear of Swansea.
Prediction: Hull 2-0 Sunderland -- Phil Buckingham
SUNDERLAND: With relegation confirmed by the 1-0 home defeat to Bournemouth last Saturday, the remaining four games of Sunderland's 10-year Premier League are mere formalities. Hull can boost their own survival hopes and should be strong enough to overcome David Moyes' truly awful side.
Prediction: Hull 3-1 Sunderland -- Colin Randall
SWANSEA: Swansea almost certainly need a win over visiting Everton because Hull are playing already relegated Sunderland at home, where they have been mostly unbeatable. Everton have carved out a niche in seventh place from which they are unlikely to move, which means their season is pretty much done. Swansea's might be too if they don't stay in the survival scrap.
Prediction: Swansea 1-0 Everton -- Max Hicks
EVERTON: Swansea are scrapping for their Premier League status, while Everton seemingly have little to play for, isolated in seventh with Europa League football guaranteed next season. The Blues should at least chase a strong finish to build momentum into the summer, especially after failing to score or win against West Ham or Chelsea.
Prediction: Swansea 2-1 Everton -- Luke O'Farrell
LEICESTER:Leicester City are safe and Watford have nothing to play for, but there are a number of Foxes players looking to make an impact ahead of next season, and Craig Shakespeare still isn't guaranteed the job in 2017-18. That's why Leicester should be hungry to win and do so convincingly. With the pressure effectively (if not mathematically) off, the goals will hopefully flow and City should have too much for the visitors
Prediction: Leicester 3-1 Watford -- Ben Jacobs
WATFORD: A decent run of results from Hull and Swansea mean Watford are looking over their shoulders again, despite being on 40 points. A decent performance at the champions was always important for the future of coach Walter Mazzarri, but with games against Everton, Chelsea and Manchester City to come, this could also provide the last realistic opportunity to end relegation uncertainty.
Prediction: Leicester 1-1 Watford -- Mike Parkin
BURNLEY: The Clarets won away for the first time this season last time out, picking up a stress-relieving three points at Crystal Palace, and they should continue their momentum Saturday. West Brom have nothing to play for and have stopped scoring, so Burnley should add to their 10 home wins.
Prediction: Burnley 2-0 West Brom -- Jamie Smith
WEST BROM: An away fixture against Burnley is not ideal for a West Brom side who have now gone five games without scoring a goal. With Matty Phillips likely to be absent through injury, young winger Jonathan Leko may finally be given a chance from the start after an impressive cameo appearance against Leicester City last time out
Prediction: Burnley 1-1 West Brom -- Matthew Evans
BOURNEMOUTH: The Cherries have won their previous two games and the momentum is with them as they return to the Vitality Stadium to take on Stoke City. Josh King's fine run of form is likely to continue and the Norway international will fire Eddie Howe's side to another relatively easy win.
Prediction: Bournemouth 2-0 Stoke -- Will Kent
STOKE: Given Stoke's poor run of form a visit to the south coast to play a Bournemouth side that won 4-0 in their last home game does not fill the supporters with much hope. There's no doubt that Saido Berahino will continue up front and if Mark Hughes wants him to finally score, he would do well to consider trying Xherdan Shaqiri in a more central role that would offer him some much-needed support.
Prediction: Bournemouth 2-0 Stoke -- James Whittaker
Liverpool can take a huge stride toward Champions League qualification with victory over Southampton at Anfield while there's ramifications for both ends of the table as Crystal Palace travel to the Etihad to face Manchester City.
